This is my favorite lesser-known clash song. I always try to two picks ready to go for artists I like- it doesn't help most people find music if you tell them you like this hidden Beatles gem called Yesterday, but only a jackass would talk about Beatles songs they like and lead off with Savoy Truffle.
July 12th, 2008: Rolling Stone guitarist Ronnie Wood leaves his wife of 23 years to move in with an 18-year-old Russian cocktail waitress. The 61 year-old dad-of-four met the teenager while out drinking, and took her away to his luxury pad in Ireland. He would check into rehab four days later.
The saddest part? We couldn't find a single newspaper that used the headline Wood For Waitress. A true tragedy.
